Role Overview

Thalle Construction Co., Inc. is seeking a Business Development Proposal Coordinator to report to the Proposal Manager and work closely with the estimating team. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated team player with a strong work ethic providing an excellent long-term opportunity within the company. This position is located out of our office in Alvarado, Texas.

What You Will Do

The Proposal Coordinator will lead coordination and production for mid-size to large, complex competitive proposals from kickoff through delivery, develop proposal schedules, outlines, storyboards, and compliance matrices, and contribute to win themes and competitive strategy.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, English, Journalism, Communications, Engineering, or a related field, with 4–6 years of proposal coordination/development experience, preferably in the A/E/C or heavy civil construction industry.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, English, Journalism, Communications, Engineering, or a related field
  • 4–6 years of proposal coordination/development experience, preferably in the A/E/C or heavy civil construction industry
  • Working knowledge of government contracting processes and the full proposal life cycle
  • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and desktop publishing; advanced Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign) skills
  • Experience building and maintaining SharePoint content libraries
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex proposals simultaneously under strict time constraints
  • Strong leadership, organization, attention to detail, and follow-through
  • Ability to work independently and to mentor and direct the work of others
