Role OverviewJoin our team in New York, NY, as a Business Development Strategic Advisor to accelerate pipeline creation and new client acquisition across our Education subvertical of the State, Local Government, and Education (SLED) Business Unit (BU). This role is central to NTT DATA’s growth strategy and focuses on identifying, shaping, and progressing early-stage opportunities in K-12 and Higher Ed that align with our portfolio of managed services, application modernization, cloud, cybersecurity, digital government, and infrastructure transformation offerings.
What You Will Do
Proactively identify, qualify, and develop new opportunities across targeted K-12 school districts and institutions of higher learning, with a focus on multi-year IT services, cloud and modernization initiatives. Collaborate with Sales Executives and Client Executives to execute territory and account development plans aligned to budget cycles, legislative priorities, and procurement pathways.

Requirements
- 7+ years of business development, sales, or capture experience in IT services
- 5+ years supporting into Educational institutions with a proven track record of pipeline creation and new logo acquisition
- 5 years of experience working with SLED procurement processes, budget cycles, and contract vehicles (e.g., NASPO, cooperative purchasing)
- 4+ years of experience with managed services, cloud, cybersecurity, application modernization, digital government, or infrastructure transformation
- Demonstrated success managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
- 5+ years experience with strong executive communication skills, including presentations, written proposals, and RFP responses
