The Omaha World-Herald is seeking a hard-charging, multi-dimensional journalist to lead the next phase of our business coverage, overseeing high-impact journalism across platforms while shaping coverage priorities and mentoring colleagues.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of delivering high-impact business journalism in a fast-paced, competitive market
  • Ability to operate as both a reporter and a newsroom leader
  • Fluency across platforms, including newsletters, podcasts, and short-form video
  • Understanding of how business intersects politics, policy, and everyday life in Nebraska
  • At least three years of relevant reporting experience; leadership experience is a plus
