Role OverviewThe Business Intelligence Engineer is responsible for designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines, transforming raw data into analytics-ready datasets, and developing robust reporting solutions that support strategic decision-making across Westgate. Approximately 65% of this role consists of backend ETL development using SQL, Alteryx, Python, and Snowflake, and 35% involves building Tableau dashboards, analytical reports, and business insights.
What You Will Do
Designs, builds, and maintains automated data pipelines using SQL, Alteryx, Python, Snowflake, and Oracle. Develops, enhances, and maintains Tableau dashboards used across Inventory, Operations, Marketing, Call Center/Dialer, Loyalty/Owner Engagement, and executive teams. Provides analytical and reporting support across multiple operational domains.

- 3-5 years of relevant experience developing ETL workflows in Alteryx, Python, and/or comparable tools
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or related field
- Familiarity with Snowflake, Oracle, LMS, TSW, and enterprise data ecosystems
- Proficiency with Tableau or similar data visualization tools
- Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, formulas, modeling)
- Ability to manage large datasets and perform detailed reconciliation
- Ability to understand complex operational processes and translate them into technical requirements
- Strong quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret trends and identify business impacts
- Understanding of sales forecasting, yield concepts, call center metrics, and operational KPIs
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new processes and technologies
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable facilitating requirement sessions and documenting business rules
- Ability to present insights and findings clearly and professionally
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
