Role Overview

The Business Intelligence Manager leads the team responsible for the strategic planning, application, and execution of business intelligence solutions. This critical role works closely with the leadership team, stakeholders, and subject matter experts in designing and delivering analytics capabilities along with driving projects, roadmaps, data strategy, and team development.

What You Will Do

Key responsibilities include working closely with the Midwest leadership team to design and deliver analytics capabilities, leading a team of analysts, developers, and partners to design and deliver BI solutions, and defining and executing the enterprise BI vision.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of hands-on experience in a technical field, with experience in Business Intelligence preferred. They will also have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Requirements

  • High School diploma/GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 5-7 years of hands-on experience in a technical field required; experience in Business Intelligence preferred.
  • 2 or more years in leadership of BI or as a lead within a BI team with a proven track record architecting and delivering BI capabilities on a large scale is required.
  • 3 or more years of data modelling or content building for self-service business intelligence, analytics, and data modeling and content building for end user applications including but not limited to Cognos Analytics and Planning Analytics/TM1.
  • Experience with relational databases such as Db2, Oracle, MS SQL Server, or similar is preferred.
