Job Description
The Archdiocese of Chicago is seeking a Business Manager for St. Theresa Parish in Palatine, IL. The Business Manager will assist the Pastor with the stewardship of the financial and human resources of the Parish, in accordance with Archdiocese of Chicago policies and guidelines.

Requirements

  • CPA or equivalent financial professional experience
  • Minimum two years in an Accounting or Finance role within a Parish or business entity
  • Must be a practicing Catholic who can demonstrate understanding, respect and support of the Catholic Church teaching, mission and values
  • Strong proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Strong verbal and written communications, interpersonal, multi-tasking, and organizational skills
  • Able to identify opportunities for improvement, evaluate issues and situations and propose and implement recommendations/solutions
