Role Overview

The Business Office Manager is responsible for planning, developing, and implementing the financial operations of the facility, ensuring compliance with state and federal laws and regulations. They will oversee the Business Office team and ensure accurate and timely billing, collections, and financial reporting. The Manager will also be responsible for process improvements and ensuring alignment with organizational standards and goals.

What You Will Do

The Business Office Manager will plan, develop, and implement financial operations, manage and implement processes and systems, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, prepare financial records and cost reports, and utilize various electronic reporting formats. They will also supervise Business Office personnel, evaluate work performance, and participate in committees and QAPI activities.

Requirements

  • Three (3) years of experience in a billing or supervisory capacity in the business office of a hospital, nursing home, or other related health care facility
  • Knowledgeable of skilled nursing home regulations, procedures, laws, regulations and guidelines pertaining to long-term care
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language
  • Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
  • Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public
