Role OverviewThe business operations team at Base is a lean group of generalists who take high-stakes, not-very-defined problems, give them structure, and drive them to completion. As our MBA intern, you'll get a real piece of that work for the summer, not a side project.
What You Will Do
Cover one part of the business for the summer: know its plan, its unit costs, and its tradeoffs better than anyone outside the team. Own a discrete project inside it end to end — the forecast it runs on, a market or product entry, a workstream in an acquisition integration, or the scoreboard it's missing — and leave behind something that still runs without you.
Why It Might Be a Fit
We are looking for someone with comfort in data; SQL already, or a real willingness to be writing it in week one. Comfort operating without a map; you create structure where none exists. Low ego, high ownership. We are people others want to work with, and there is no “that's not my job”.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing an MBA
- 2–5 years of pre-MBA experience
