Job Description
Lead the design and implementation of new or improved technologies, systems, and processes to make the plant more productive and efficient. Apply lean manufacturing principles and methods to develop efficient material handling processes and analyze dock operations and locations. Plan for efficient material movement processes and develop storage analysis to determine storage levels and efficient storage layouts.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
6 months of experience as a Business Process Excellence Intern or Industrial Engineering Intern in an automotive manufacturing environment
Experience with analysis and report generation using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access, Factory FLOW software, and Pro-Model Simulation Software
