Role Overview

The Business Services Associate provides vital administrative, logistical, and candidate-focused support to the Business Services Department. This position ensures accurate documentation, contract processing, job order support, and coordination across programs, enabling the Business Services Consultants (BSCs) and Business Services leadership to focus on strategic employer engagement and service execution.

What You Will Do

The Business Services Associate will complete data entry and prepare contracts, collaborate with Adult, Dislocated Worker, Youth, and Special Projects staff, assist employers with creating or updating job descriptions, and maintain detailed records of employer engagement, event participation, and service outcomes.

Requirements

  • Associate in Arts or Science Degree in Human Services or related field from an accredited institution
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in Recruiting, Staffing, Job placement, Workforce services
  • Florida Workforce Professional Certification – Tier I required
  • Completion of Business Services Consultant Certification within one year of hire date
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Experience using Employ Florida required
  • Exposure to Salesforce platforms preferred
