Role OverviewThe Business Systems Specialist is responsible for using their knowledge of software programs and business strategies to help maximize productivity and communication. This role partners closely with IT, Branch Operations, Service, Fleet, Heavy Rents, Sales, and Central Operations to gather requirements, map workflows, and translate business needs into technical specifications while ensuring systems align with organizational goals.
What You Will Do
Duties include talking with management to determine their needs, coordinating with IT professionals to create or update software based on those needs, and training company employees on how to use the software effectively in their daily jobs. Key responsibilities include requirements gathering, process mapping, system optimization, cross-functional liaison, testing & implementation, and user training.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in business analysis, systems administration, or process improvement
- Experience in equipment rental, industrial services, logistics, construction, or asset-intensive environments strongly preferred
- Proven track record of driving execution improvements across multiple locations or teams
