Job Description
The Direct Materials Buyer role is responsible for executing the purchase and planning of materials to support customers, working with multiple vendors and internal teams to deliver high quality products on time.

Requirements

  • Material Resource Planning
  • Enter Purchase Orders (PO’s) daily to key vendors
  • Source and procure components and raw materials for key vendors if expedites are required
  • Compare prices, specifications, and delivery dates to determine the best bid among potential suppliers
  • Measure and implement corrective actions with vendors, ensuring high levels of Quality and On-time Delivery
