Role OverviewThe Buyer is responsible for acquiring goods and services at a competitive price, with on-time delivery and top quality via issuance of a purchase order. The Buyer will assist more senior buyers and perform a range of activities associated with purchasing goods, materials, suppliers, and services based on established quality standards, availability requirements and price constraints.
What You Will Do
Make daily purchases within allotted programs based on requisitions and analyze the quality, specifications and delivery requirements. Send out quotations for bid on non-contracted items and negotiates best price. Enter purchase orders into system and issue to supplier via fax or e-mail.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
