The Buyer will be responsible for acquiring goods and services at a competitive price, with on-time delivery and top quality. The role involves assisting more senior buyers and performing a range of activities associated with purchasing goods, materials, suppliers, and services based on established quality standards, availability requirements, and price constraints.
What You Will Do
The Buyer will make daily purchases within allotted programs based on requisitions, analyze quality, specifications, and delivery requirements, and issue purchase orders to suppliers. They will also negotiate best prices, review purchase orders, and highlight problem areas. The Buyer will interact with planners to control scheduling of parts, ensure stock levels meet demands, and review supplier performance.
