Buyer

The Buyer will be responsible for purchasing and procurement of items specified by other departments, evaluating suppliers, and ensuring orders adhere to supplier agreements and contracts. The Buyer will also be involved in new product development, communication between Engineering and Suppliers, and interface with Project Managers to plan and prioritize purchasing activities.

What You Will Do

The Buyer will prioritize and send approved purchase orders, update system lead times, delivery dates, and pricing, and ensure orders adhere to supplier agreements and contracts. The Buyer will also evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and availability, and follow up to ensure goods/services are delivered as promised.
