Job Description
BWC Customer Service Representative provides information and assistance to customers in resolving inquiries and complaints concerning Ohio workers' compensation coverage. The position involves delivering superior customer service in an inbound Customer Contact Call Center environment, requiring 6-7 hours of direct customer phone contact daily. This position is remote, but the incumbent must be able to report to a BWC office within a reasonable period of time and on short notice. New employee orientation and 6-month training will take place in-person at BWC headquarters in Columbus, Ohio.

Requirements

  • 12 months training or 12 months experience in public relations or position responsible for receiving and responding to written and verbal public inquiries and/or complaints
  • formal education in arithmetic that includes addition and subtraction and in reading, writing, and speaking common English vocabulary
  • equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment
