Job Description
The Salvation Army is seeking a Cabin Leader to guide cabin groups of 8-10 campers through successful participation in all aspects of the summer camp program. The Cabin Leader will be responsible for supervision, support, and motivation of campers, as well as leading a weekly devotion and coordinating with the Nurse and Head Cabin Leader for medical transportation. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to following Jesus Christ and biblical principles, good character, and adaptability.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Prior leadership experience preferred
  • Valid Driver's License
  • At least 2 seasons of summer camp experience or 1 year in equivalent youth work experience
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Hold a valid or be capable of obtaining Oregon Food Handlers card
  • Hold a valid or be capable of obtaining AED, Red Cross or equivalent CPR and First Aid certification
