Role OverviewDataVox is seeking Cable Technicians to join the Building Technology Solutions (BTS) Department in Dallas - Fort Worth. As a Cable Technician, you will be responsible for installation and testing of network cabling, interpreting CAD design drawings, and adhering to BICSI – EIA – TIA specifications. You will work in a team environment, collaborating with others to deliver high-quality services to our clients. What You Will Do
Installation and testing of network cabling, including Cat.5e, Cat.6, Fiber Optic, Coax, Risers, and Multi-Pair Tie Cables. Interpretation of CAD design drawings and adherence to BICSI – EIA – TIA specifications. Solid experience in complete pre-cabling preparation, installation of patch panels, punch down 66/110 blocks, 110-patch panel, and various data and voice jacks.
