Job Description
The CAD Technician I is an entry-level drafter responsible for producing foundational 2D basemaps and plan sheets that support gas distribution and transmission projects.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or equivalent related field.
  • 2+ years preferred of drafting experience, preferably in gas utility field
  • Proficient with AutoCAD 2D basics.
  • Ability to read and understand CAD drawings, schematics and maps.
  • Familiarity with GIS, GIS data formats (dwg, shp) and coordinate systems.
