Job Description
The City of Milwaukee is hiring a CADD and GIS Technician 1 or 2 to draft construction plans, perform mapping and drawing-related tasks, and update records related to paving and green infrastructure projects using CADD and GIS software. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proficient in CADD and GIS software, and able to work effectively in a team environment.

Requirements

  • Prepare engineering drawings using CADD software
  • Perform permit reviews for oversize and overweight vehicles
  • Organize and maintain digital and paper files
  • Compute mathematical calculations
  • Maintain roadway asset management maps using GIS software
  • Update engineering quarter sections, official maps, and maintain databases
