Job Description
The Department of Design and Construction is seeking a CADD Designer to prepare as-built drawings and working drawings for roadway, sewer, and water main projects. The selected candidate will work under the guidance of an Engineer-in-Charge and may require participating in field surveys and attending meetings.
Requirements
Four-year high school diploma or equivalent
Two years of full-time satisfactory experience as an engineering technician
Associate degree from an accredited college or technical institution with a specialization in engineering technology
Motor Vehicle Driver License valid in the State of New York (for certain positions)
At least one year of satisfactory service as an Engineering Technician with the City of New York (for Assignment Levels III - IV)
Baccalaureate degree in engineering technology from an accredited college (for Assignment Levels III - IV)
Two additional years of full-time satisfactory experience performing engineering technician work (for Assignment Levels III - IV)
