Role OverviewAs a CADD Designer/Technician at HDR, you will prepare detailed drawings, layouts, and sketches for conventional concrete and steel bridges, retaining walls, and miscellaneous structures using computer-aided design software. You will work independently with direction from a supervisor and engineers, and perform other duties as needed. Typical projects will be for highway and railway projects.
What You Will Do
Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, and sketches for conventional concrete and steel bridges, retaining walls, and miscellaneous structures using computer-aided design software. Develop details for simple to potentially complex concrete and steel bridges. Demonstrate ability to work independently with direction from supervisor and engineers.

We are looking for an individual with an associate or technical school degree, or a combination of education and relevant experience. You should have knowledge of standard CAD software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc) and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite. A strong attention to detail and organization skills are required, as well as a basic understanding of engineering or architectural concepts, workflows, and deliverables.
