Role Overview

As a CADD Designer/Technician, you will prepare detailed drawings, layouts, and sketches for conventional concrete and steel bridges, retaining walls, and miscellaneous structures using computer-aided design software. You will work independently with direction from a supervisor and engineers. Typical projects will be for highway and railway projects.

What You Will Do

Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, and sketches for conventional concrete and steel bridges, retaining walls, and miscellaneous structures. Develop details for simple to complex concrete and steel bridges. Demonstrate ability to work independently with direction from supervisor and engineers.

Requirements

  • Associate or technical school degree, or combination of education and relevant experience
  • Knowledge of standard CAD Software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills
  • Basic understanding of engineering or architectural concepts, workflows, and deliverables
