Role OverviewJoin HDR's Power Delivery team as a CADD Technician, responsible for creating and/or modifying electric substation drawings, distribution drawings, and transmission line drawings. Work with industry-recognized engineers and scientists to contribute to reliable, resilient, and sustainable power systems.
What You Will Do
Perform discipline-specific drafting assignments, prepare drawings, layouts, sketches, maps, and graphic representations of engineering designs using computer-aided design software.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Ideal candidate has 1+ year of experience working for an A/E firm or Utility company, with knowledge of standard CAD software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong attention to detail and organization skills required.
Requirements
- Associate or technical school degree, or combination of education and relevant experience
- Knowledge of standard CAD Software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
