Provide students with a well-balanced and nutritious meal, manage cafeteria operations, and ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.

Requirements

  • Accredited Senior High School Diploma or valid equivalent
  • Two to four years formal job related training
  • One year successful management experience in food service or successful completion of the Dallas Independent School District Training Program
  • Approved City of Dallas Safety and Sanitation Certification within one month of hire
  • Demonstrated knowledge of food services rules and regulations
  • Ability to operate and maintain institutional equipment
  • Ability to communicate in English by speaking, reading and writing
  • Ability to communicate in Spanish is a plus
