Job Description
We are hiring part-time Childcare Teachers to provide classroom coverage in our child care center. Teachers will work with infants to Pre-K and be responsible for executing an ongoing program of activities that meet the children's basic developmental needs and self-care skills.

Requirements

  • At least 18-years-old
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working with children at a licensed child care facility
  • Basic understanding of child growth and development
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to function effectively as part of a team
  • A positive attitude
  • Ability to work various hours/schedules with various age children and able to work on a on-call basis
  • Able to use Microsoft Office to input data and communicate to or with parents
  • Able to walk and stand for long periods of time
  • Able to use hands and fingers to handle or feel children/infants, small objects, controls and to care for the children
  • Able to repeatedly reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, twist, squat, climb or crawl
  • Able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds, and in case of an emergency a 50-pound child
