Role OverviewThe Candidacy Support Specialist will be responsible for supporting Division of Child Protection (DCP) Child Protective Specialist in determining and re-determining candidacy, CIN number activation and systems tracking of placements from the Children’s Center. The Specialist will be responsible for timely determination and re-determination of financial eligibility for child’s foster care candidacy services, trouble shooting discrepancies relating to child’s eligibility for foster care candidacy, and maintaining a system of records.
What You Will Do
The Specialist will be responsible for assessing documentation in CNNX in accordance with federal and state requirements, identifying errors, researching relevant documents, records, and computerized data, and contacting persons and units involved to initiate and follow up on corrective actions.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The Specialist will be responsible for maintaining liaisons with two or more agencies/units, navigating and understanding Connections, WMS/CCRS, and CAS screens to complete financial eligibility and 2921, and performing special tasks and clean-up projects.
Requirements
- A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college
- Knowledge of eligibility procedures, ACS data systems, WMS/CCRS and Connections
- Knowledge of Excel and Word a plus
