Role OverviewThe Canton WC Claims Specialist will manage a caseload of Workers' Compensation claims, communicating and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to set return to work expectations. The role involves performing initial and subsequent claims investigation and determination within prescribed timeframes, processing various types of compensation, and responding to customer inquiries.
What You Will Do
The successful candidate will be responsible for investigating and determining claims, processing compensation, and communicating with customers. They will also be required to follow Ohio Revised Code and BWC policies and procedures.

Requirements
- 36 months experience in position requiring evaluation of medical or public assistance benefits
- 12 months experience in position requiring evaluation of medical or public assistance benefits
- 24 months experience as Workers' Compensation Claims Assistant
- 12 months experience as Workers' Compensation Medical Claims Specialist
