Role OverviewThe CAOLA Program Assistant provides program guidance to partnering school entities and Intermediate Units, advises students and families taking online courses, and assists with managing and operating the Capital Area Online Learning Association (CAOLA). This is a school-based position working 7.5 paid hours/day during school-based hours, 37.5 hours/week. The position is paid at $28/hour, W2 employment.
What You Will Do
Provides information and guidance to school entities on course offerings, program timelines, program policies, vendor licensing, and best practices in an online learning environment. Participate in planning and implementing the CAOLA program, including conferences, network meetings, and marketing efforts.

The ideal candidate will have two years of similar or related experience, with experience in student advising or online learning environment preferred. Proficient in productivity software such as Microsoft and Google Suite and Adobe in creating, editing, proofreading, and publishing in multiple formats and applications.

- Ability to work independently; multi-task; problem solve, and prioritize work, including meeting established timelines, with little direct supervision required
