Job Description
Gray Media Group is recruiting an experienced and competitive Bureau Chief/MMJ who thrives covering politics and statewide issues in the capital of the third-largest state in the country, with a Governor who continually generates national news.

Requirements

  • 3+ years as an MMJ or reporter in a television newsroom; state house experience in a capital city preferred
  • Substantial knowledge of politics and government issues, and a passion for reporting on these topics
  • A demonstrated track record of engaging, “happening now” live shots, scripted and unscripted coverage
  • Good news judgment and journalistic integrity
  • BS/BA in journalism or communications
  • A valid driver`s license and good driving record
  • Experience with live equipment such as TVU and LiveU
