Job Description
UT Southwestern is seeking a Cardiac Device RN to provide care and treatment to patients with diagnostic and therapeutic imaging needs and patients requiring management of cardiac rhythm devices. The successful candidate will work under general supervision of physician, and/or imaging and nursing supervisor, and provide care to patients in the Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) setting.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an approved/accredited nursing program
  • Excellent IV skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Successful completion of approved device training within 180 Days
  • NURSING LICENSURE COMPACT-BNE Upon Hire
  • BASIC LIFE SUPPORT course accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) Upon Hire
  • ADV CARDIAC LIFE SUPPORT course accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) Upon Hire
  • Professional certification in a nursing organization Upon Hire
