Role OverviewThe Cardiac nurse navigator provides personalized support to patients, families, and caregivers, navigating the system of care and maximizing care. They perform screenings, review incidental findings, and strengthen the cardiology program. They collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate timely access to quality services.
What You Will Do
Perform screenings for atrial fibrillation or structural heart disease, review and escalate incidental findings, and act to strengthen the cardiology program. Coordinate timely access to quality and comprehensive services throughout the continuum of care.

Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey
- BLSHCP Certification
- 5 years cardiology, critical care, Cardiac Cath Lab or Electrophysiology clinical experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills, motivational interviewing, written and verbal communication, and computer literacy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with individuals or in a group setting
