Role OverviewUnder the direction of the Nurse Practitioner and supervising Physician, assumes responsibility for all aspects of exercise and chemical stress testing.
What You Will Do
Monitor and evaluate EKG tracings, supervise and coordinate exercise testing protocols, document changes in patient status, and use computer system to process studies for charge and billing purposes.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Ability to read, write and communicate in English, Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science, and successful completion of Basic Arrhythmia course or challenge exam required.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science
- Successful completion of Basic Arrhythmia course or challenge exam
- BLS required
- EKG course or certification required
- ACLS required
- Must complete Radiation Safety training within 1 month of hire and renew annually
