Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in respiratory care from an accredited program
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license by the Texas Medical Board and National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) certification if required to work in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
  • 2 years of experience working in Cardiovascular
