Role OverviewThis Patient Care Technician role is within the Progressive Care Unit at Vanderbilt Health, a large academic health system. The position involves assisting in direct patient care under the supervision of professional nurses, working three 12-hour night shifts per week. The role is based in Tullahoma, TN.
What You Will Do
Provide patient care based on the nursing process as directed by RN/LPNs, assist with patient transfers, repositioning, and transporting patients, supplies, or specimens. Maintain compliance with unit policies and procedures, and complete annual education requirements.
