Job Description
Vanderbilt University Medical Center is seeking a Care Partner to assist with the delivery of patient care and maintenance of unit environmental standards under the supervision of a licensed nurse. The Care Partner will work on the Adult Pulmonary Stepdown Unit, caring for patients aged 18 to 100+ with complex conditions such as post-lung transplant procedures, pulmonary-hypertension, and ECMO graduates.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)
  • Current enrollment in a professional nursing RN program with successful completion of the first semester (including nursing fundamentals clinical), or
  • Graduation from a Nursing Assistant or Aide Training Program within the past year (certificate of completion required), or
  • Minimum of one year of recent experience (within the past two years) as a care partner, nursing assistant, or patient care technician
