Job Description
The Career Coach will integrate employment and career readiness services for runaway, homeless and at-risk youth ages 16-24, and build connections with local employers, training providers and workforce agencies to create job, internship, educational and apprenticeship pipelines.

Requirements

  • Maintain an active caseload and work towards achieving targets as outlined in the program contract.
  • Assess each youth’s personal needs and develop individual plans to assist youth in achieving their educational/employment goals.
  • Facilitate one-on-one employment support to youths.
  • Manage and track monthly outcomes and any other relevant data.
  • Record client information, progress reports and any other relevant data
  • Prepare and submit reports as needed.
  • Attend workforce networking events and training workshops to remain informed.
  • Model safe and positive workplace behavior and work readiness skills (teamwork, conflict resolution, positive attitude, timeliness, etc.).
