Job Description
We are seeking a Career Counselor to join our team at the Sierra Nevada Job Corps Center in Sierra, NV. As a Career Counselor, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing a professional individual and group counseling program for assigned students. You will work with students to analyze and recommend a program, provide direct aid, and conduct continuous educational and social adjustment counseling.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree including 15 semester hours in social services related instruction
  • 1 year experience in counseling or related field
  • Bi-lingual Spanish preferred, but not required
  • Experience with youth
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer proficiency
