Role Overview

As a Career Placement Specialist, you will provide individualized career counseling to participants, helping them identify their strengths, interests, and career goals. You will also conduct job market research, establish relationships with employers and industry professionals, and match participants with suitable job openings. You will work closely with instructors, counselors, and support staff to provide holistic support to participants.

What You Will Do

Your main day-to-day responsibilities will include providing career counseling, conducting job market research, networking with employers and industry professionals, matching participants with job openings, and supporting participants throughout the application and interview process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Career Development, Human Resources, or a related field
  • Minimum of two years of experience in career counseling, job placement, or a related role
