Job Description
Caregiver/Family Advocacy and Support Services enhance the youth’s ability to function as part of a family unit and assist the family in understanding and addressing the participant’s needs related to their disabilities.
Requirements
Interact and engage with family and youth to offer educational, advocacy, and support resources
Provide guidance in the principles of youth’s chronic condition or life-threatening illness
Train youth and/or the family in methods and behaviors to enable success in the community, self-advocacy and self sufficiency
