Role OverviewAs a Caregiver at REM West Virginia, you will help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities grow, learn, and live well. You will develop real relationships with the individuals you serve and experience ownership and trust from your leaders.
What You Will Do
You will support participants with developmental goals, provide personal care, and help them participate in community activities. You will also assist with behavioral challenges and other complex needs.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination
- Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
- Cooking, cleaning, assisting with personal care, such as eating, dressing, bathing and toileting
- Ability to stay calm and problem solve in stressful situations
- Patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible
