Role OverviewAssisting Hands Home Care is looking for a compassionate and committed caregiver to support a client in Chantilly who is living with dementia.
What You Will Do
Provide cognitive support, personal care assistance, light housekeeping, grocery shopping, meal preparation, companionship, medication reminders, and transportation to doctor appointments and errands.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have experience working with clients with dementia, a valid PCA, HHA or CNA certificate, CPR certification, and proof of a negative tuberculosis (TB) screening.
Requirements
- Experience working with clients with dementia
- Valid PCA, HHA or CNA certificate
- CPR certification
- Proof of a negative tuberculosis (TB) screening
- Ability to pass a background check
- Reliable Personal Transportation
- Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
- Ability to lift 25 lbs. and assist with transfers
