Role OverviewThe Caregiver Support Specialist is responsible for relicensing and supporting licensed foster homes. This position reports to the Caregiver Support Supervisor. The Specialist will conduct foster home studies, family assessments, interviews, and licensing activities, monitor licensed foster homes, and provide ongoing support to foster families.
What You Will Do
Conduct foster home studies, family assessments, interviews, and licensing activities; monitor licensed foster homes through quarterly home visits and monthly phone calls; provide ongoing support to foster families; assess caregiver and family needs; and provide crisis intervention, problem-solving assistance, and referrals to appropriate services and community resources.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or closely related field
- Valid, State of Florida driver's license
- Certification as a Child Welfare Professional and Licensing certification within twelve (12) months of appointment
