Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Tailings and Heap Leach Engineer to join our Carlin Environmental & Compliance department at Nevada Gold Mines. The role involves ensuring the design, construction, operation, monitoring, and closure of tailings storage facilities and heap leach facilities follow regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Geological Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mining Engineering, or related engineering degree
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in the mining or related industry
  • Knowledge of Tailings and Heap leach operations and construction
  • Knowledge of water management practice and water balance modeling
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team
