Job Description
The Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction is seeking a Carpenter 2 to work at the Pickaway Correctional Institution. The successful candidate will have 18 months of training or experience in carpentry work, as well as knowledge of blueprint reading and hand and power tool operation.

Requirements

  • Considerable knowledge of carpentry trade, hand and power tool operation, and blueprint reading
  • Experience in carpentry duties
  • Ability to lead and train lower level carpenters and incarcerated individuals
  • Ability to design, fabricate, repair, and install wood products
  • Ability to make repairs and alterations to buildings
