Role OverviewThe Carpenter 3 will perform complex carpentry tasks in concrete carpentry or finish carpentry on various construction projects, including new construction, renovations, and other project types. This position may also supervise a team within the carpenter scope of work. The role requires working knowledge of all concrete tools and carpentry hand tools, basic understanding of principles of layout and construction math, and proficiency with the basic elements of framing or forming.
What You Will Do
The Carpenter 3 will be responsible for tasks such as setting forms for concrete, placement of concrete, basic acceptable finishing of concrete, installation of in-wall and roof blocking, installation of safety railings, and erecting temporary partitions and doors. The role also requires proficiency with advanced understanding of formwork systems and installation, placement and finishing of concrete flatwork, and quality installation of casework and countertops.
