Role OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Carpenter to contribute to the construction and maintenance of strong and long-lasting chemical storage buildings. The successful applicant should be hardworking, reliable, and have good communication and organizational skills.
What You Will Do
The Carpenter will accurately read blueprints, drawings, and take accurate measurements to ensure quality. They will use hand tools to perform the job, work with materials such as sheet rock, sheet metal, and insulation, and apply joint compound where drawings require it.

Requirements

- Diligently follow safe work practices for yourself and team members at all times
- Must be able to work in a flexible team environment with job rotation as needed
- Must be able to work overtime as needed
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of measurements using a tape measure
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs to waist and over head
- Ability to use ladders at least 10 feet off the ground
- Ability to bend, twist, squat, stand, and walk up to 10 hours per day
- Wear all required PPE including: steel toed shoes, hearing protection, and safety glasses
- Good physical condition and endurance
- Ability to work in high heat conditions
