Role OverviewKBR is seeking a Carpentry Journeyman to work under the Foreman or General Foreman and execute work in accordance with established plans and procedures. The carpenter will read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work documentation to effectively plan and organize carpentry activities.
What You Will Do
Measure, cut, and assemble materials to build, install, and repair a wide range of structures in support of plant construction and maintenance operations. Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition and ensure their safe and efficient use.

Requirements
- Must be a US citizen
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
- Knowledge of carpentry tools, materials, and construction practices
- Computer skills, including working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to work long hours in support of mission requirements
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
- Experience in contingency environments as well as knowledge and experience working with government contracts
