Role OverviewAs an Afterhours and Weekend Carrier Sales Representative, you will be responsible for identifying, sourcing, and developing strong business relationships with service providers to achieve maximum profitability and customer satisfaction. You will track load life cycle from shipment to delivery, communicate relevant freight updates, and provide and negotiate freight rates to motor carriers.
What You Will Do
Your main day-to-day responsibilities will include tracking load life cycle, communicating freight updates, providing and negotiating freight rates, coordinating available customer freight with available motor carrier equipment, and maintaining a file of all open truck shipments.
