Job Description
At Penn Power Group, we're looking for a skilled Carrier Refrigeration Technician to install, maintain, and repair refrigeration units for commercial trucks, trailers, and large equipment. The role involves working on heavy-duty refrigeration systems, ensuring their performance and reliability in keeping temperature-sensitive goods safe.

Requirements

  • Inspects, maintains and repairs refrigeration units, and all systems/components related to heavy duty tractors, trailers, and refrigeration units
  • Install, maintain, and repair heavy-duty refrigeration units on trucks, trailers, and industrial equipment
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot refrigeration system issues, including electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration cycles
  • Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections to ensure proper functioning
  • Recharge refrigerant systems and replace or repair parts, including compressors, condensers, and evaporators
  • Maintain accurate service records and ensure compliance with safety standards
  • Work in both indoor and outdoor environments, dealing with various temperatures and conditions
  • Rebuilding components on equipment
  • Complete all Repair Orders in a timely manner ensuring all labor and parts are charged to the appropriate unit
